The Deer Hunter
The Vietnam War movie The Deer Hunter portrayed POWs played by Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken playing Russian roulette against each other. In this "game" a bullet is inserted into the chamber of a gun and each player takes turns firing the gun at their own head, De Niro's character seizes the gun and escapes.
