Riley Grannan
Riley Grannan was an eastern gambler and sporting man. He was famous throughout the country for the size of his bets and his nerve. In the winter of 1908 he went broke in San Francisco. Friends bankrolled him, where he went to Goldfield and to Rawhide. He bought a saloon and gambling house called Moss's Corner.
